B.A. Mused is my little brain-child to end boring furniture. I'm a self-proclaimed craftisan and artsman who generates utilitarian objects with a sense of taste and humor that belies my Midwestern roots. (No disrespect meant towards Hummel crafters and clown portrait painters!)

With a background in fibers, graphic design and writing and interests in many forms of art & craft, my unnatural affinity to fabric didn't exactly pay the bills. (There's just no future in napkin folding!) So upholstery was the obvious choice, since I've already run out of floor space in my home for more furniture.

My design notebook resembles more of a laundry list of: "What I would do with my spare time... (if I had any.)"

My personal motto is:    Tradition B. D#^*ed!

I'd like to say that I specialize in providing reupholstery services, textile consulting and random reconstructions to turn what you have into what you want.

Beyond the world of furniiture, I've been contracted for seasonal decorating, painting - faux and otherwise, constructing camel saddles (yes, I know),  making outdoor sun beds, producing wreaths, gardening & landscaping, wedding planning and decorating assistance, leather work, beading, roofing (never again!), executing those projects you see on Pinterest, making clothing, vacuuming pools, knitting, leading craft classes, organizing volunteers, catering & glue-gun interventions. I've had a client tell me that if "It's domestic - you know how to do it." I tell her I'll leave the cleaning and dishes to her!
